Martial arts & teaching

I have over 25 years of professional teaching experience. My practice spans Aikido Aikikai (5th Dan), Kobayashi-ryu Karate (4th Dan) and Iaido ZNKR (3rd Dan).

I am interested in what connects these disciplines: balance, awareness, timing, the relationship between partners and the possibility of responding without unnecessary conflict.

Beyond martial arts

My experience in hypnosis, chiropractic and bodywork adds perspectives on attention, perception, physical tension and responses. I bring this curiosity into martial arts teaching, without turning seminars into medical treatment or therapy.

Teaching approach

I aim to create a practical, welcoming space where participants can test ideas, experience movement directly and discover their own understanding rather than imitate a fixed answer.
